JIMMY CHOO for H&M.

Can you believe it?! Have you ever wanted to buy a pair of Jimmy Choos but thought it was only a dream because you didn't have $500 to spend on SHOES?! (I know I have..and I've often found myself in situations like holding a pair of designer shoes in hand and thinking "hmm should I pay my rent or spend all my money on these shoes...") Come on, I can't be the ONLY one!!

So here's the scoop, as of November 14th 2009 "Jimmy Choo for H&M" became available in H&M stores. The line is very similar to the actual luxury Jimmy Choo style and look, the only difference is construction, material and durability. The prices will range from $60-$200. This line includes everything from flats to stilettos, patent leathers, and true to Jimmy Choo form; studs on almost every shoe. 



This means 2 things:

1. It is yet another result of our terrible economic times when Jimmy Choo has to start designing for H&M which is "cheap-clothes-not-the-best-quality-but-still-stylish-and-cute" (A step and a half up from Forever 21).
2. "Holy Shit I can actually own a pair of Jimmy Choos-my dream is coming true-there is a God".

I personally think Kate Moss for YSL is amazing, she ROCKS in this commercial. If that sex doesn't sell, then I don't know what does.

An Obession for Nude Pumps.

Lately I have had a new style obsession with the timeless nude pump. The best thing about the nude pump is that when worn with a short dress or skirt, the nude pump elongates and lengthens the legs. Although it could just be an illusion for some of us, it's by far one of the best fashion tricks in the book. The shoe almost disappears. thus the expression "legs for days" explains it all.
Pair your favorite pair of nude pumps with your favorite LBD (little black dress) for the most classic look, no doubt a SURE head turner.
